American Eagle Airline

American Eagle Airlines is a brand name currently in use by American Eagle Airlines, Inc - a corporation currently based and operated out of Fort Worth, Texas. The American Eagle name is also used by Executive Airlines, a regional affiliate of American Airlines based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The airline is an affiliate member of the well-known Oneworld alliance.

On the whole, American Eagle Airlines is considered to be the largest, most expansive regional airline system in the entire world. It currently operates an estimated 1,800 flights or more per day. Its service coverage encompasses 159 cities across the whole of the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Caribbean islands. American Eagle's Caribbean coverage alone includes 30 different destinations on 25 different islands. Its current major hubs are located in Boston, Chicago-O'Hare, Miami, San Juan, New York (Kennedy and LaGuardia), Raleigh, Los Angeles, and Dallas-Fort Worth.

American Eagle services feature a complete array of amenities and perks for the convenience and ease of the customer. This includes schedules that have been conveniently coordinated for quick connections with not only other American Eagle flights, but flights hosted by its partner American Airlines as well. Efficient customer services include plane-side valet baggage check service for carry-on bags and solicitous flight attendant services.

Meal options are available to passengers who fly American Eagle. Domestic flights throughout all areas of North America, as well as the Caribbean feature a buy-on-board program that offers snacks for purchase on flights two hours or longer in length. Beer, wine, and spirits are also available for purchase on the great majority of flights. A selection of non-alcoholic beverages that include juice, coffee, tea, bottled water, and soft drinks is available as well.

American Eagle's current fleet includes four different top-of-the-line jet models - the Embraer 145, Embraer 140, Embraer, 135, and Bombardier CRJ 700. There are also two different jet-powered turboprop airplanes in use as well - the Super ATR and the SAAB 340B. All aircraft bearing the American Eagle name feature many of the same conveniences and amenities to be found on American Airlines jetliners. These include generous overhead storage spaces for carry-on luggage, friendly in-flight service, and reclining seats.

American Eagle flights also feature access to two different in-flight magazines - American Way and Latitudes. American Way features quick, easy-to-read articles on a wide variety of interesting topics to help keep passengers occupied and entertained during their flight. Latitudes shines a spotlight on all of the beautiful destinations that can be reached via flights with American Eagle Airlines and is included on all flights within the Eastern United States, Canada, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean islands.

Frequent flyers with American Eagle also get to enjoy the comfort and convenience associated with American's airport clubs and lounges - the Admirals Club and the Flagship Lounge. Both offer comfortable surroundings where eligible passengers can relax, read, or catch up on work while they wait for their flight to arrive.

Consumers thinking about applying for an airline miles credit card should consider one that features American Eagle coverage if they are looking for access to an airline that features impeccable customer service and a wide variety of choices when it comes to destinations and travel options.
