American Eagle Airlines
American Eagle Airlines is a brand name currently in use by American Eagle Airlines, Inc - a corporation currently based and operated out of Fort Worth, Texas. The American Eagle name is also used by Executive Airlines, a regional affiliate of American Airlines based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The airline is an affiliate member of the well-known Oneworld alliance.
On the whole, American Eagle Airlines is considered to be the largest, most expansive regional airline system in the entire world. It currently operates an estimated 1,800 flights or more per day. Its service coverage encompasses 159 cities across the whole of the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Caribbean islands. American Eagle's Caribbean coverage alone includes 30 different destinations on 25 different islands. There are also two different jet-powered turboprop airplanes in use as well - the Super ATR and the SAAB 340B. All aircraft bearing the American Eagle name feature many of the same conveniences and amenities to be found on American Airlines jetliners. These include generous overhead storage spaces for carry-on luggage, friendly in-flight service, and reclining seats.
