Hawaiian Airlines

Hawaiian Airlines is a major American air travel provider based in Honolulu, Hawaii where its main hub of operation is located within Honolulu International Airport. It also has a second hub of operation at Kahului Airport on Maui. It is currently the largest airline based in Hawaii and the 11th largest commercial airline currently operating in the whole of the United States. It is often commonly referred to as "HAL" for short.

Hawaiian Airlines currently features frequent flight service for Hawaii, as well as many West Coast destinations in the states of California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. It also includes regular service to various regions of Oceania including Australia, Tahiti, and American Samoa. In mid-2007, they added the Philippines and Manila to their growing roster of beautiful and exotic destinations.

Hawaiian Airlines is notable not only for its impeccable service record and reputation for quality, but also for the fact that it is one of the only major airlines that has never had a fatal accident during its entire history. Of the airlines that can claim the same, Hawaiian is by far the oldest of them, as the others have all been in business 40 years or less.

Hawaiian Airlines also had the distinction of being the number one on-time carrier in the country between November 2003 and November 2006 before Aloha Airlines claimed the honor for its own. In addition to all this, Hawaiian Airlines has also consistently shown an incredible track record when it comes to having the fewest cancellations, the lowest record of oversales, and the best record when it comes to baggage handling. As a result, customers of all types have come to trust Hawaiian when it comes to taking care of their travel needs efficiently and conveniently.

National Football League fans might be interested to know that Hawaiian Airlines has the distinction of having flown the Seattle Seahawks during the 2007 NFL season. The Oakland Raiders have been making them their airline of choice since the 90's. Both teams regularly choose Hawaiian for air travel to all their games and two of Hawaiian's Boeings have even been emblazoned with the Seahawks and Raiders logos.

Like many major US airlines, Hawaiian Airlines has established its very own frequent flyer miles program called HawaiianMiles to reward regular passengers for their loyalty and continued patronage. HawaiianMiles users enjoy all the perks and benefits associated with all the best airline miles rewards programs including seating upgrades, discounted car rentals and hotel stays, special merchandise, and free or discounted airfare tickets. Especially active members (Pualani Gold and Pualani Platinum members) enjoy additional privileges including separate check-in, complimentary upgrades, and priority consideration when it comes to a number of areas.

Those in the market for an airline miles credit card should consider looking for one that covers services from Hawaiian Airlines if they are looking to fly a top-notch airline that offers impeccable travel experiences, has a spotless service record, and is trusted by many of the world's top travelers.
